Clearly Now it's Time.... Personal Training for Women is a business dedicated to helping women of all ages to exercise safely.  Sally Thompson is a fully qualified fitness trainer who specialises in pelvic floor safe exercises for women.  Sally works closely with Vanea Atwood, a Women's Health Physiotherapist, to ensure all clients are exercising safely.  

There are 3 main class options to choose from:
  Mums and Bubs - with babysitters,
Just Mums and Bone Strength.
- Personal training options are available too.

Exercise will help increase your muscle tone, increase your strength and endurance, improve your cardio fitness, promote weight loss and help increase your energy levels and boost your confidence.  All classes a fun, and a great way to meet other local mums.  Look forward to seeing you soon!   

 

Mums and Bubs Classes

Mums and Bubs classes are designed specifically for mums.  Babysitters are at each of these class to look after your children.  These classes are a great way to meet other local mums and have fun getting fit.

Each class will include strength training, cardio and endurance workouts, flexibility and balance exercises.  All exercises are pelvic floor safe and designed to help you get back into exercise and increase your fitness in a safe and controlled environment. 

These classes run each school term - with holiday sessions available too.

Outdoor Classes at Darnley Oval, Gordon
Tuesdays and Fridays 9.30am
(at FunFit if it rains)
Indoor Classes at FunFit, Gordon
Mondays 11.00am and Thursdays 10.30am

Also suitable for:
Pregnant women
Women without toddler/babies age children
Women with school age children

Personal Training Sessions

Sally can also provide personal training sessions.  At FunFit, or at your home gym.

Sally can help you reach your fitness goals, design training sessions for an event you've entered - or would like too! 

Sally has competed in 1//2 marathons, Coastrek, Ocean swims, triathlons, and much more..

Just Mums Classes

These classes are for mums where babysitters aren't needed - kids are at school or day care etc. These classes are a designed to push you a little harder - and to take your fitness to the next level!

Each class will include strength training, cardio and endurance sessions, flexibility and balance exercises.  All exercises are pelvic floor safe and designed to help exercise safely and to build your fitness in a safe and controlled environment.

These classes run each school term- with holiday sessions available too.

Indoor Classes at FunFit, Gordon
Mondays 8pm
Wednesdays 9.30am
Thursdays 9.15am (Hour of Power) 

Who is at risk of developing a weak pelvic floor?

  • Have had children
  • Going through or have gone through menopause
  • Have a family history of weak pelvic floors
  • Never exercise their pelvic floor
  • Are unsure they can correctly identify their pelvic floor muscles
  • Are unsure they can correctly perform pelvic floor exercises
  • Are or have been overweight
  • Lift heavy loads/weights
  • And/or exercise incorrectly.

Bone Strength Class

This Bone Strength class is for women who like low impact exercise.  All exercises are Pelvic Floor Safe.

This Bone Strength class has been specially designed for women who are at any stage of menopause (+pre and post). It is a weight bearing and resistance exercise program for bone and muscular strength. Low impact cardio, muscular endurance and strength, flexibility, balance and pelvic floor exercises. Perfect for helping to control weak pelvic floor issues. Enjoy exercising outdoors!
